Manage your FedEx shipments in Qapla’
For FedEx, the integration is available which allows for label printing directly on Qapla’ and the tracking of shipments managed with the courier.
To configure the courier, you will need to follow the steps described below.
NOTE: If the FedEx module is not included in your plan, purchase it from the store or add it to your account to enable the generation of FedEx shipments.
1. Initial Data and FedEx Account Registration
It is necessary to retrieve the FedEx Customer code/Account number.
If you do not know this data, it is recommended to log in to your FedEx account (personal area) where your Account Number is always visible. Alternatively, request it from your courier contact.
- National Customer code/Account number: 9-digit numeric code.
- International Customer code/Account number: 9-digit numeric code.
If you use the same account for national and international, enter the same code.
Click on “Register Account”.
2. FedEx Code Registration
The “Register Account” button allows you to proceed with the FedEx validation, which requires the following steps:
- Acceptance of FedEx EULA Terms: You must scroll through the document to enable the checkbox “I have read and accept the terms of the FedEx EULA agreement.”
- Sender Information: Enter the exact personal/company details here with which the contract was registered on the FedEx portal.
- Customer Name
- Nation
- Street, Square, and Number
- City
- Postal Code
- Province
- Residential address: Check this only and exclusively if the address is residential. It is disabled by default.
- Validation Method: During the account registration phase on the FedEx portal, an email and a phone number are provided which will be used during the two-factor authentication phase. By clicking the “Next” button, Qapla’ contacts FedEx, providing the entered data to begin the registration process.
Possible choice between one of the following options:- OTP (6-digit code).
If this option is chosen, it in turn requires the selection of one of the following:- SMS
- Validation with invoice: validation that occurs by entering data related to any invoice for the entered account number from the last 90 days. Here, it requires:
- Invoice number
- Invoice date
- Currency
- Invoice amount (total)
- OTP (6-digit code).

3. Label Generation Settings
Proceed with the courier configuration by going to your Qapla’ account: Settings > Channels > [Channel Name] “Configure” > Couriers > FedEx
Insert and configure the following fields:
- Generate Shipments: Enable to activate label generation.
- Shipping Charge: Allows you to select who to charge the shipping costs to by default.
It will be possible to choose an option different from the default setting during order editing, before proceeding with generation.- Recipient
- Sender
- Third Party.
If this option is chosen, an additional field opens to be populated:- Third-party shipping charge account
- TIN Type: For FedEx, this is the tax identification code and its type. The allowed types are:
- PERSONAL NATIONAL
- PERSONAL STATE
- FEDERAL
- BUSINESS NATIONAL
- BUSINESS STATE
- BUSINESS UNION: generally the most used option.
- EORI Code (Economic Operator Registration and Identification): the merchant’s tax identification number.
- Services: Choose which services to display and use during generation.

- Include packing list: Allows including a packing list. For more details on whether to use this option, it is recommended to contact your FedEx representative.
- Service code (national shipments)
- Customs: Select the default charge for customs duties.
It will be possible to choose an option different from the default setting during order editing, before proceeding with generation. Options include:- Recipient
- Sender
- Third Party
If this option is chosen, an additional field opens to be populated:- Account number for third-party customs charge
- Customs codes: Allows setting a default customs code that is applied to the item line, field related to the customs code (HS Code).
- Paperless: Function to manage customs documents. ETD, Electronic Trade Documents for international non-EU shipments and also for domestic shipments from GB.
- Accessory Services. Here you will find the following options:
- Pickup Type
- USE SCHEDULED PICKUP: Option for those who have already scheduled a fixed pickup or other methods with the courier.
- CONTACT FEDEX TO SCHEDULE: Choice to request pickup during transmission.
- DROPOFF AT THE FEDEX LOCATION: Option that allows the merchant to take shipments to a FedEx PUDO for pickup.
- Signature request: Choose the request for a signature confirming receipt from the recipient.

- Transmission time: Time the pickup request is sent to the courier, usually a few hours after the closing time.
- Activate single pickup request with daily queue: To send only one pickup request for the day. This avoids sending multiple pickup requests to the courier.

- Enable different senders: Check if multi-sender is to be activated.
- Always use this sender: Fill in the data if only one sender is to be used.
- Returns: It is possible to enable the management of simultaneous returns.
- Manage returns: To choose, order by order, whether to generate the return label.
- Create return label for all shipments: Generates the return label for all generated shipments, without needing to select it.
- Return address different from sender: If the address to which the shipment should be returned is different from the sender’s, fill in the section.
- Return services, Choose the default services to apply for return generation:

- Courier contact person: It is possible to enter your courier contact’s email.
