Qapla’ Companion: Chrome extension guide
Qapla’ Companion is the official Google Chrome extension designed to enhance your Customer Service. It allows you to view shipment statuses in real-time directly within your support tools (Zendesk, Gmail, Salesforce, etc.) without having to switch tabs.
Thanks to this tool, not only will you have direct visibility of the shipment’s progress, but you can also:
- Access the shipment directly on Qapla’ with a simple click on the order reference
- Consult the Tracking Page by clicking on the tracking number
- Configure quick and automated responses: use preset templates to reply to your customers in seconds. Thanks to the use of metavariables, the extension will automatically fill the message with the correct shipment data, eliminating any risk of manual error.
1. Installation
To get started, download the extension directly from the Chrome Web Store:
Download Qapla’ Companion (Beta)
Note: Using the extension requires an active Qapla’ account.
2. API Key and Unlock Code configuration
To connect the extension to your Qapla’ account, follow these steps:
- Log in to your Qapla’ panel, go to Settings > External Plugins > Chrome Extension.
- Copy the API Key generated by the system.
- Open the extension in your browser and go to the API Key and Security section.
- Paste the API Key into the dedicated field.

- Unlock code: create a security password (minimum 12 characters, including 1 uppercase letter and 1 number).
- Click on “Save encrypted”.
The API Key/Unlock code combination remains valid for 7 days. Once this period expires, it will be necessary to generate a new unlock code for security reasons.
3. Enable channels on your Qapla’ account
Still in Settings > External Plugins > Chrome Extension > Channel Configurations
It is necessary to select and then enable the channels you want to query in the Chrome extension.

Once configured, the extension will show a side-panel in the supported systems.
