Introduction

Qapla’ is the ready-to-use software for seamless management of shipping, tracking, and post-shipment communications. With Qapla’s PUDO Plugin, you can offer your customers and prospects the option to receive their orders at pick-up points. This way, you can provide a more flexible shopping experience, reduce shipping costs, and minimize inventory delays. By introducing pick-up points, your e-commerce can compete with the major players in the market.

Installation

To install the Qapla’ PUDO Plugin, simply download it from the Shopify store. Access the configuration section in your e-commerce CMS by navigating to Apps > Installed Apps > qapla-etichette-pudo.

Configuration

If you are not yet a Qapla’ customer, you can visit https://register.qapla.it/ and complete the registration process. A member of the Qapla’ team will then contact you to finalize the registration, configure, and activate the Qapla’ PUDO Plugin.

If you already have a Qapla’ account, great! You can proceed on your own.
First, make sure you have the following information ready:

  • Qapla’ API Public Key
  • Qapla’ API Private Key

You can find both in the “Channel” section of your Qapla’ control panel.

Enter your Private API Key in the plugin configuration settings.

Access E-commerce > Shopify, enable the option “Use Shopify APIs/WS,” and fill in the “Shop Name” field with your Shopify store name and the “Qapla’ Token” field with the provided token.

You’ve now completed the connection between Qapla’ and Shopify for the Plugin!

Activation

If you’re already a Qapla’ customer, after downloading the Qapla’ PUDO Plugin, you can activate it in just a few simple steps:
Contact the Success Team via email at success@qapla.it, and they will get back to you to proceed with the activation together.

Start Using Pick-Up Points

Once the plugin is activated in your Qapla’ control panel, you’ll have the option to exclude certain couriers (from those already configured) from the pick-up points proposed in your e-commerce.

Simply go to the dedicated section within the Couriers area of your channel.

Creating the Shipping Method

To make the shipping method visible at checkout, remember to create one in Shopify Settings > Shipping and Delivery > Shipping Zones.

App Block Configuration

To activate PUDO selection at Checkout, you must enable the app block “checkout-pudo”.

  1. Go to your store settings from the left-hand menu and select Checkout, then click the Customize button.
  2. In the Checkout editor, if necessary, proceed to the shipping step, then click Add App Block in the bottom-left side menu and select checkout-pudo.
  3. The “checkout-pudo” app block will be added to the Delivery > Shipping Rates section of the Checkout.

Note: Feature available only for Shopify Plus stores.


To activate PUDO selection on the Thank You page, you must enable the app block “checkout-pudo”.

  1. Go to your store settings from the left-hand menu and select Checkout, then click the Customize button.
  2. In the Checkout editor, select the “Thank You” template from the top menu.
  3. In the template editor, click Add App Block in the bottom-left side menu and select checkout-pudo.

Note: Feature available for non-Shopify Plus stores.


You can display the selected pick-up point details in the order details.
To do so, you must add the “Qapla Pudo Info” app block to your order details template.

  1. Access the theme customization, then select the Order Details template.
  2. Log in with a customer account for the shop and select an order from the order list, then click Add Section in the bottom-left side menu.
  3. In the section addition popup, select App and then Qapla Pudo Info.
