Integration of Pickup Points on Shopify with the PUDO Plugin

Installation
To install the Qapla’ PUDO Plugin simply download it from the Shopify page. Entering the CMS of your e-commerce, you can access the configuration section via Apps > Installed apps > qapla-etichette-pudo.
Configuration
If you are not yet a Qapla’ customer, you can visit https://register.qapla.it/ and proceed with registration. You will then be contacted by a Qapla’ team member to finalize the registration, configure, and activate the Qapla’ PUDO plugin.
If you already have a Qapla’ account, great, you can proceed on your own.
First of all, you need to know the necessary information:
Qapla’ Public API Key
Qapla’ Private API Key
You can find both pieces of information in the “Channel” section in the Qapla’ control panel.
Enter your Private API Key information in the plugin configuration.
Accessing E-commerce > Shopify, activate the option “Use Shopify API / WS” and fill in the “Shop Name” field with the name of your Shopify shop and the “Qapla’ Token” field with the provided token.
You have completed the connection between Qapla’ and Shopify for the Plugin!
Activation
If you are already a Qapla’ customer, after downloading the Qapla’ PUDO Plugin, you can activate it in just a few steps:
- simply contact the Success team via email success@qapla.it who will contact you to proceed with the activation together
Start using Pickup Points
Once the plugin is activated in the Qapla’ control panel, you will have the possibility, if you wish, to exclude some carriers (among those already configured) from the pickup points proposed in your e-commerce.
Simply go to the specific section within the Carriers area of your channel.

Creation of the shipping method
To make the shipping method visible at the moment of checkout, remember to create one on Shopify in Settings > Shipping and delivery > Shipping Zones
Attention: it is mandatory to create the shipping method for the correct configuration.
App Blocks Configuration
To activate the selection of PUDOs on the Checkout, it is necessary to enable the “checkout-pudo” app block.
Access the store settings from the side menu on the left, then select “Checkout” and click on the “Customize” button.
In the Checkout edit screen, if necessary, proceed to the shipping step, then click on “Add app block” on the left sidebar at the bottom of the page and select “checkout-pudo”.
The “checkout-pudo” app block will be added to the “Delivery > Shipping rates” section of the Checkout.
Go to Checkout configuration
To activate the selection of PUDOs on the Thankyou Page, it is necessary to enable the “checkout-pudo” app block.
Access the store settings from the side menu on the left, then select “Checkout” and click on the “Customize” button.
In the Checkout edit screen, select the “Thank you” template from the top menu.
From the template edit page, click on “Add app block” on the left sidebar at the bottom of the page and select “checkout-pudo”.
Go to Checkout configuration
You can show the data related to the pickup point chosen by the customer on the order detail.
To do this, you must add the “Qapla Pudo Info” app block to your order detail template.
Access the customization of the theme, then select the “Customer Order” template.
Log in with a customer account of the shop and select an order from the order list, then click on the “Add Section” button on the left sidebar.
In the section addition popup, select “Apps” and then “Qapla Pudo Info”.
