SDA Print Shipping Labels

Manage your SDA shipments in Qapla’

In this section, it is possible to connect the courier SDA for generating shipping labels directly through Qapla’.

NOTE: If the SDA module is not included in your plan, purchase it from the store or add it to your account to enable SDA shipment generation.

Preliminary Requirements

To print SDA labels directly on Qapla’, you must request your courier representative to activate the following service: Webservice Technological Solution, enabled by the relevant SDA branch.

Configuration Path

To configure the module, access: Settings > Channels > [Channel Name] “Configure” > Couriers > SDA

Webservice access

Data to be configured on Qapla’ for Webservice access (to be requested from the courier once the Technological Solution is activated):

  • Customer code
  • Station Code (Codice Postazione)
  • Login and password for Webservice access
  • Paying Customer Code

Tracking

Configuration for reading the tracking number:

  • Verification type: Tracking Number

  • Field: Tracking Number

  • Update with shipment number: not necessary (leave empty)

  • Other tracking reading method: The courier also allows tracking via order reference. To enable this mode, it is mandatory to enter the credentials here as well:

    • Customer code

    • Station Code

    • User

    • Password

Label generation

Data for label generation:

  • Generate labels: Check to activate generation.

  • Paying Customer Code.

  • Cash on Delivery (COD) collection type: If COD is managed, select the default collection type (see code list below).

  • Content: Enter the shipment content.

  • Service code: Select the default Service Code to be used for shipments.

  • International: Allows setting default values applied to items if missing from the order:

    • Country of manufacture

    • Customs codes

  • Enable multiple senders: Check if to be activated (Multi-sender).

Label Printing

Options for printing and label format.

  • Print Labels: Select the desired format.

    • A4: 1 label per sheet on A4 for Laser printers.

    • A4 (4 labels of 105x148mm): 4 labels per sheet on A4 for Laser printers.

    • A6: 1 label per sheet on A4 for Laser and Thermal printers.

    • Zebra ZPL 12x11cm (qz.io): 1 label per sheet for Thermal printers.

IMPORTANT: International Shipments If both domestic and international shipments are generated, the only formats that can be enabled are A4 and A6:

  • If domestic labels are generated, they will be in A6 or A4 (depending on the choice).

  • If international labels are generated, they will ONLY be in A4 format.

NOTE: To print with Zebra ZPL format via Qz.io, you must:

  1. Download and install the QZ Tray driver
  2. Follow the instructions at this link: https://help.qapla.it/qz-io-per-stampa-etichette-zpl-zebra-epl/
  • Printing options:
    • INSERT PRODUCTS IN LABEL NOTES: Option to allow the product list to be included on the label.
    • SEND DIMENSIONS IN CM. (LENGTH X WIDTH X HEIGHT): This check must be enabled to send dimensions to the courier. Warning: If not enabled, the courier will return an error.

  • Enable pickup date choice: Check if to be activated.

    • You can decide whether to enable the pickup request to the courier by sending a date selected by the customer. If not selected, Qapla’ sends the first available date (usually the next business day).

  • Insurance: Selection from the imported order editor.

Generation Services

List of available services for generation:

  • [S09] EXTRA LARGE

  • [S08] INTERNAZIONALE

  • [S24] ECONOMY

  • [S34] ROAD EUROPE: Eurodis (only for parcels, not for pallets)

  • [S36] EXPORT BOX

  • [P48] CRONO INTERNAZIONALE

    • Mandatory information: single-parcel shipments only, mandatory dimensions, item value equal to total order value, mandatory country of manufacture and customs code.

Delivery Type

  • By appointment

  • Floor delivery

  • Saturday

  • Evening

Note: These are not available for all destinations, so the courier might return an error if not applicable.

Cash on Delivery (COD) collection type

Check which code corresponds to your contract:

  • ‘CON’ (Cash)

  • ‘VAR’ (All) – With generation on Qapla’ it is possible to use this collection type

  • ‘ABM’ (Bank check payable to Sender)

  • ‘ABS’ (Bank check payable to SDA)

  • ‘ACM’ (Cashier’s check payable to Sender)

  • ‘ACS’ (Cashier’s check payable to SDA)

Sender address management

  • Enable multiple senders: check if multi-sender is to be activated
  • Always use this sender: fill in the data if only one sender is to be used

Other settings

  • Shipping manifest: you can enter up to 3 emails separated by commas to receive a copy of the manifest
  • Courier representative contacts: you can enter the email of your courier representative
  • Order display in the labels section: all, domestic, or international
