{"id":8279,"date":"2025-08-07T11:09:16","date_gmt":"2025-08-07T09:09:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/help.qapla.it\/?p=8279"},"modified":"2025-09-18T11:32:47","modified_gmt":"2025-09-18T09:32:47","slug":"import-shipments-with-csv-file-via-ftp-ftps-url","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/help.qapla.it\/en\/import-shipments-with-csv-file-via-ftp-ftps-url\/","title":{"rendered":"Import shipments with CSV File via FTP\/FTPS\/URL"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>How to import shipments with CSV File via FTP\/FTPS\/URL<\/h2>\n<p>This procedure allows you to import your shipments into <strong><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.qapla.it\/?utm_source=help&amp;utm_medium=referral&amp;utm_campaign=import-spedizioni-excel\" rel=\"noopener\">Qapla\u2019<\/a><\/strong> using a CSV file by configuring an FTP\/FTPS\/URL.<\/p>\n<h3>Create a CSV file<\/h3>\n<p>Create a <strong><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.qapla.it\/?utm_source=help&amp;utm_medium=referral&amp;utm_campaign=import-spedizioni-excel\" rel=\"noopener\">Qapla\u2019<\/a><\/strong> following the instructions in the following guide: <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/help.qapla.it\/en\/import-shipments-from-csv-file\/\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Shipment Import via CSV File<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>FTP\/FTPS Configuration<\/h3>\n<p>To configure automatic import go to:<br \/>\nSettings &gt; [Channel Name] Configure &gt; Import &gt; Shipments &gt; CSV Connector &gt; <strong>Set the Connector<br \/>\n<\/strong>The configuration requires some mandatory fields (marked in red) and some optional ones.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>URL<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span>Enter the URL using the following format:<br \/>\n<strong>ftp:\/\/username:password@host:port\/path\/FileName[YYYYMMDD].csv<br \/>\n<\/strong>Example: ftp:\/\/User123:Pass321@ftpExample.com:21\/Qapla\/FileQapla_[YYYYMMDD].csv<br \/>\nURL components:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>ftp:\/\/ or ftps:\/\/<\/li>\n<li>username<\/li>\n<li>password<\/li>\n<li>host or IP address (can also include the port, e.g. ftpExample.com:21)<\/li>\n<li>path and file name<\/li>\n<li>date format: [YYYYMMDD] date of the import day<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Transfer file at the end of the Task (FTP\/FTPS only)<br \/>\nTick this option to move the file to another folder on your FTP server after Qapla\u2019 has completed the import. The FTP server must allow read and write permissions.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Destination URL<\/strong>: specify the path of the folder where the file should be moved.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Schedule<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nSet the time when the automatic CSV file import should be executed. You can configure up to twice a day.<br \/>\nTo add more schedules, contact customer care: support@qapla.it<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Use of wildcard character * in the file name<\/strong><br \/>\nYou can use the asterisk <strong>*<\/strong> to import multiple files with the same prefix.
