{"id":5624,"date":"2025-08-05T17:13:12","date_gmt":"2025-08-05T15:13:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/help.qapla.it\/?p=5624"},"modified":"2025-12-17T11:52:26","modified_gmt":"2025-12-17T10:52:26","slug":"smtp-email-server","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/help.qapla.it\/en\/smtp-email-server\/","title":{"rendered":"SMTP Email Server"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>How to set-up the email server SMTP?<\/h2>\n<p>In order to send emails to customers, you have to set up a dedicated mail server on \u00a0<strong><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/cp.qapla.it\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Qapla\u2019<\/a><\/strong> for bulk mailings. To make this configuration, you need to go to Channels &gt; [Channel Name] &gt; Configure &gt; 8. Mail server, and fill in the section with access data:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Server<\/li>\n<li>Login<\/li>\n<li>Password<\/li>\n<li>Port<\/li>\n<li>Secure<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Select Port between: 465, 587 or Other smtp port indicating the right one, and select the Secure type.<\/p>\n<p>Once entered all the data and clicked on &#8220;Update&#8221;, you will be able to check if your server does work through the &#8220;Test&#8221; tool available.<\/p>\n<h3>Gmail of G Suite: SMTP forward<\/h3>\n<p>Gmail is not usable, because of its sending limits.<\/p>\n<p>G Suite, on the other hand, provides the SMTP forwarding service in order to direct the outgoing mail through Google.<\/p>\n<p>To enable it, the following steps have to be done:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/support.google.com\/a\/answer\/2956491?hl=en&amp;ref_topic=2921034\">G Suite Admistrator\u2019s Guide: SMTP Relay<\/a><\/p>\n<p>In point <strong>6<\/strong>, in the section &#8220;Authorized senders&#8221;, you must select the point &#8220;Only Google Apps users registered in my domains&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>In point<strong> 7<\/strong>, under &#8220;Authentication&#8221; please select &#8220;Require SMTP authentication&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/myaccount.google.com\/lesssecureapps\">Account access settings for less secure apps<\/a>: to enable (ON).<\/p>\n<p>Starting from May 1st, 2025, Google Workspace accounts are expected to no longer support apps considered less secure or third-party apps that use a username and password.<\/p>\n<p>For this reason, we recommend verifying that you have also carried out the following steps:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">1- Enable Google 2-Step Verification<\/p>\n<p>2- Create an App Password to use instead of the account password<\/p>\n<p><strong>NOTE<\/strong>: For more information, we recommend contacting the Google Workspace Mail Server service provider.<\/p>\n<h2>Don&#8217;t you have a mail server?<\/h2>\n<p>If you don\u2019t have a mail server or if your server is not suitable for bulk sending, <strong>you can purchase our safe and guaranteed SMTP<\/strong> on <strong>Store &gt; Mail Server<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>To configure the mail server, please <strong>write to support@qapla.it <\/strong>providing:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Registration email address<\/li>\n<li>Sender email address for sending communications<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Once the SMTP configuration is complete, you will need to contact your domain provider to request the insertion of SPF, DKIM, and DMARC Records in your DNS.<br \/>\nThese records ensure the security, authenticity, and deliverability of the emails sent from Qapla\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b data-stringify-type=\"bold\">Need help?<\/b><br aria-hidden=\"true\" \/>If you need assistance, contact\u00a0<b data-stringify-type=\"bold\">Qapla\u2019s Customer Care<\/b>\u00a0at\u00a0<b data-stringify-type=\"bold\"><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"mailto:support@qapla.it\" rel=\"noopener\" class=\"c-link\" data-stringify-link=\"mailto:support@qapla.it\" data-sk=\"tooltip_parent\" aria-haspopup=\"menu\">support@qapla.it<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>How to set-up the email server SMTP?
