Manage your Poste Italiane shipments in Qapla’

For Poste Italiane (PosteDelivery Business), the integration is available which allows for label printing directly on Qapla’, and the tracking of shipments managed with the courier.

To configure the courier, you will need to follow the steps described below.

1. Request service activation from Poste Italiane

To generate shipments via Qapla’, request the following credentials related to WebServices from your contact or PDB branch:

  • Cost center (format “CDC-000NNNNN”)
  • Login (WS Client ID)
  • Password (WS Secret)

2. Configuration on Qapla’

Once you have gathered all the credentials, you can configure the courier independently on your Qapla’ account by going to:
Settings > Channels > [Channel Name] “Configure” > Couriers > Poste Italiane

NOTE: If the Poste Italiane module is not included in your plan, purchase it from the store or add it to your account to enable the generation of Poste Italiane shipments.

Enter your credentials in the Access to WebServices section.
It is no longer necessary to fill in the Contract Code field.

Proceed with the configuration, selecting all the necessary options:

  • Content: Description/nature of the goods
  • Cash on Delivery (COD) collection method:
    • Cash
    • Check payable to the original sender
    • Cashier’s check payable to the sender
    • Bank check payable to the sender
  • National Services
    • PosteDelivery Business Express
    • PosteDelivery Business Standard
  • International Services
    • PosteDelivery Business International Plus
    • PosteDelivery Business International Express
    • PosteDelivery Business International Standard
  • Accessory Services
    • Delivery to floor
    • Delivery To Neighbor
    • Evening Delivery
    • Defined Day Time Delivery
    • Scheduled Delivery
    • Saturday Delivery
    • Evening Delivery
    • Delivery By Appointment
    • Multi-package
    • By 10:00
    • By 12:00
    • By 9:00
    • PDB now
    • Pickup From Floor
    • Pickup By Appointment
  • Customs
    • Country of manufacture (in ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 format), optional default setting
    • Customs codes, optional default setting

Available label formats:

  • PDF A4
  • PDF 10×11
  • ZPL (requires Qz Tray driver)

IMPORTANT: To print with ZPL formats, the installation of specific drivers is required:

Simultaneous Returns:

  • Manage returns: it is possible to enable the generation of the return label together with the outbound one.
  • Create return label for all shipments: default setting, which will activate the generation of the return for all shipments.
  • Return address different from sender: enable if it is necessary to create the return to an address different from the sender’s. It will also be necessary to indicate the address and contact details.
  • Return types:
    • Reverse To Home
    • Reverse International
    • Reverse Punto Poste
    • Reverse Punto PosteLocker
    • Reverse Post Office
  • Return Services
    • PosteDelivery Business Express
    • PosteDelivery Business Standard

Pickup booking:

  • Send pickup booking: enable if you want to send the automatic pickup request, it will also be necessary to indicate a Time slot for pickup (morning, afternoon, or both).

Other settings:

  • Sender: the company name that will appear on the label is the one registered by contract with the carrier. For any changes, request them directly from Poste Italiane.
  • Shipping manifest: it is possible to enter up to 3 email addresses, separated by commas, to receive a copy of the manifest
  • Courier contact person: it is possible to enter your courier contact’s email
  • Order display in the labels section: all, national, or international

3. Tracking mode configuration

Enter the WebService credentials:

  • Client ID
  • Secret ID

Use Web Services for tracking

  • Enable this option only if you have configured the Web Service credentials.
