Manage your DHL Express shipments with Qapla’
Integration is available for DHL Express, allowing you to print labels directly on Qapla’ and track shipments managed with the courier.
To configure the courier, you will need to follow the steps described below.
1. Request credentials from DHL Express
To generate shipments through Qapla’, you must obtain the following credentials:
- Customer code for domestic shipments
- Customer code for international shipments:
- Air Code
- Trucking Code
In addition, you must provide the following specifications:
- Service code (domestic shipments), default settings:
- Domestic Express
- Domestic Express H 12
- Domestic Express H 10:30
- Domestic Express H 9
- Express Easy
- Medical Express
- Service code (international shipments), default settings:
- Express 12:00
- Economy Select
- Express Worldwide
- Express 9:00
- Medical Express
- Parcel Product
- Air Capacity Sales
- Economy Breakbulk
- Express 10:30
- Express Breakbulk
- Express Envelope
- Globalmail
- Placeholder
- Same Day
- Sameday Sprintline
- Express Easy
- Freight Worldwide
- Sameday Jetline
- Go Green (valid only for Express services)
- Content: specify a description for the content, which will be applied by default to all shipments
- Cash on Delivery (COD) payment method:
- Cash, POS
- Bank check or Postal check payable to the sender
- Cashier’s check payable to the sender
- Bank check or Postal check payable to the carrier
- Cashier’s check payable to the carrier
- Cash, POS, or Check (Bank/Postal/Cashier’s) payable to the sender
- Cash, POS, or Check (Bank/Postal/Cashier’s) payable to the carrier
- Customs charges:
- Receiver
- Sender
- Third party: the DHL Express customer code must be specified
- EORI Code: indicate the EORI code
International The following fields are optional. The set data will be applied by default to the items in the order:
- Country of manufacture (in ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 format), optional default setting
- Customs codes, optional default setting. Only one customs code can be set.
- Unit of measurement
Label printing Available label formats:
- PDF A4
- PDF A6
- Zebra PDF 102x150mm
- ZPL (requires Qz Tray drivers)
IMPORTANT: To print in ZPL formats, specific drivers must be installed:
- Qz Tray (dedicated guide at this link)
- Browser Print
Sender setting:
- Default: the sender will be shown as configured in Settings > Company.
- Specific sender: the address must be provided:
- Name: Company name
- Contact: contact name
- Address
- ZIP Code
- City
- Province
- Country
- Phone
- Multi-sender: if this option is chosen, you can manage and configure different senders in Settings > Senders, setting one as the default.
Contextual Returns:
- Manage returns: you can enable the generation of the return label along with the outbound one.
- Create return label for all shipments: default setting, which will activate return generation for all shipments.
- Return validity: possible options:
- 3 months
- 6 months
- 12 months
- 24 months
- Return address different from sender: to be indicated if the return needs to be sent to an address other than the sender’s. Address and contact details must also be provided.
- Customer code for international returns
- Trucking customer code for international returns
- Customs Customer Code
- Customs charges
Pickup booking:
- Send pickup booking: to be enabled if you wish to send an automatic pickup request; a preferred pickup time and a closing time must also be indicated.
- Only one pickup request per date/time
Other settings:
- Shipping manifest: you can enter up to 3 emails separated by commas to receive a copy of the manifest
- Courier representative contacts: you can enter the email of your courier representative
- Order display in the labels section: all, domestic, or international
2. Request configuration from our customer care
Once all credentials, data, and necessary specifications have been collected, send the configuration request to our customer care (support@qapla.it).
Make sure to provide all the details indicated, your account name, and the channel or channels to be configured; incomplete requests may lead to longer processing times for the configuration.
NOTE: If the DHL Express module is not included in your plan, purchase it from the store or add it to your account to enable DHL Express shipment generation.
