Addons GO-TO-ACTION

What is it for?

The actions of GO-TO-ACTION take the user to your tracking page directly from the subject of the transactional email sent. It is possible to interact with the reference actions several times.

How to activate it?

  1. Prerequisites: double check your mail server

    In case you are using a different server than that one suggested by Qapla’ please make sure to comply with all guidelines and requirements listed below. Rules on the email sender’s quality.

    • Emails must be authenticated via DKIM or SPF
    • The first-level domain (TLD) of the SPF control or DKIM signature must match the first-level domain of your email address From:.
      – e.g. if you use From: foo@bar.com, the DKIM or SPF value must be valid for bar.com or sub.bar.com
      – Gmail verifies just the SPF check of your email domain Return-Path:. If you use only the SPF authentication and not DKIM, your Return-Path: email address must match the first-level domain of your From: email.
      – To check quikly if the SPF or DKIM settings are correct, please refer to the Help Center article on email authentication.
    • Emails must come from a static email address, e.g. foo@bar.com
    • Emails must follow the guidelines to avoid email addressed to Gmail users to be blocked or spammed.
    • Coherent chronology of sending large volumes of mail from your domain (at least hundreds of emails a day to Gmail) for at least a few weeks.
    • A very low rate of spam complaints from users.
  2. Add the AddonsAdd the Addons within the transactional email template you want to work on.
  3. Send an email

    By sending the emails present in the preview of the template editor you want to act on, you can send a real email from your production servers (or from a server with DKIM/SPF/From:/Return-Path: similar headers) including the markup scheme/scheme. Whitelisting+sample@gmail.com. This way we will be able to to check the guidelines and requirements listed in the Registration Guidelines to be respected.
